@albert19
I doubt he NEEDS her to buy him stuff. She’s just doing it as a gift for him. Maybe he just didn’t think to get his own cell phone before now.
@Dirty Bit
Ugh, you made me remember what MY mother did to me.
I’ve never been much of a cell phone user besides just texting, and the occasional phone call, and I only paid like $20 a month. $10 for a thousand text message plan, and the rest on .20 cent a minute calls.
One day, out of nowhere, she came home with a gift: 2 new cell phones for me and her … with a contract. She got upset I wasn’t jumping for joy over my phone bill tripling.(or quadrupling. I forget. It was like 12-14 years ago.) It wasn’t like I ever complained about my phone or was asking about one.
Basically a total waste of money for me over the next year, and she acted like I was being ungrateful. If it had just been the phone I would have been fine with it. It was a better phone than I had. But to just sign me up for a family plan without even asking me was rude, and she couldn’t grasp that. I was only working a minimum wage part time job as a cashier, so it wasn’t like I was rolling in dough.
Ahh… I remember when I asked my parents to buy me a cellphone. It was the late 90s and I was one of the first kids in my class to even have one. I think it was Siemens C45 or something…
Yeah. As soon as the plan expired I was off it. Thankfully she never did something like that again.
I kept the phone for a while after but I think it broke or I lost it.
That sucks, dude.

Taking his mare out to eat.
@brony-in-denial
He did spend his first round of profits on a laptop to share with Twilight.
Supporting three lazy mares.
Makes you wonder where all the money he earns goes to, don’t you think?
The first one was meh, but the one I have now is much nicer.
