Now that you mentioned the crystal coins one… at least the lucky coin one gave me some characters. I got none from the crystal one.
I didn’t pay attention to the success rate for things I do for free like that, but eventually I did that enough times that I cleared out everything of value months ago. Still working on the one with crystal coins, without getting anything for even longer, but with a guaranteed Sunburst adding to the workforce I hope to speed up that process.

Especially when you don’t know if they’re even using the chances that they’re boasting about. E.g. the Kludgetown balloon pop claims to have a 27% chance of getting a character, but I haven’t gotten any for about 4 months.
