A Xenomorph H.R. Giger’s creepily chirpy mother could be proud of, the monstrous abomination of the My Little Pony slash community. Imagestation user redchinadragon took a pink Hasbro pony with sunglasses seared onto its plastic flank, gruesomely hacked off its head and stitched the black skull of Linguafoeda acheronsis (the scientific name of the Xenomorph, meaning “foul-tongued creature of Acheron”) onto the neck stump. The result is like some wonderful toy line inspired by an Aliens crossover in which a plague of chest-bursters infects Dream Valley.

You know, in the past, Hasbro has experimented with trying to extend the My Little Pony franchise to boys, leading musician L. Burke to quip: “My Little Pony turned me gay.” I can say with a great deal of certainty that if Hasbro is serious about getting boys to play with ponies, just such a Giger-inspired tack would be a seriously great first step.
