“Say, Jesus? Lord of us all? Am I going to hell for being an Athiest?”  
“No, not really.”  
“What about spiritual but not religious people?”  
“Hell. 100% straight to hell.”
 
If people are curious, yes I am religious, I’m Roman Catholic (Happy to be one), but I have no problem of people of other belifs. Hell, most of my friends are athiest/agnostic. Doesn’t mean I can’t joke about athiesm a bit. Also, out of all the Mane Six, I always pictured Twilight to be an athiest, mainly because she seems to disbelieve anything supernatural. And no, I don’t consider Celestia and Luna to be “Gods”, but I wound find it hard to be an athiest in a world of magic.

The fact that I don’t want to no exist nor being unable to feel anything at all.
 
Hell, the only reason why I don’t want to die is the non-afterlife thing. I mean, sure, life would be harder and more pressuring if getting to the paradise is your afterlife objective, but at least it gives you a nice long-term gain. Otherwise it makes look like life or death are just stupid.
 
Damn I hate nature.

On one hand, progress will have to go slower than we expected because of this meeting. On the other hand I think the fact that this means there’s an afterlife calm my nerves.

I may be an atheist but find this funny. But as for the after we die thing, since there is no body you won’t miss being alive. If there is nothing there to experience things, there is no you to miss things. It is a very comforting thought.
