I’m not even 100% sure changelings reproduce the way other creatures do. The only look at a Changeling nest was way back in “The Times Are a Changeling” when we see Thorax hatching. From the look of it, changeling eggs seemed to be sprouting from a large patch of fungus that was crowing on the ceiling.

I assume most if not all changelings are both genders, meaning that they have both male and female genitalia. then again I could be wrong and there is no way to tell apart witch changeling is a bow or a girl other than there voices witch even then could get confusing

And seeing as Ocellus’s color scheme looks like it’s a combination of the other two adult’s color schemes, here, I’m pressed to say I’d actually be surprised if these weren’t her parents. No to mention the pink nymph’s color scheme matches the left changeling’s eyes and wings, and the green nymph’s color scheme matches the right changeling’s carapace. 20 bits says those are her younger siblings.
Hey, new changeling color schemes! Just having the six different palettes was getting a tad repetitive. I like these ones, too – nice color identities, and the shades work well together..
It could be that there simply isn’t a singular female laying all the eggs anymore, and now there are females throughout the hive having thier own babies.
The changelings have never been just insects, they’re insect ponies, meaning adopting pack animal behaviors over insect ones kinda fits the whole ’evolving and moving past the days of Chrysalis’ thing. Because really, in the context of the show’s lore, Chrysalis’ absolute rule and control of the entire changeling population as the solo queen was painted in an evil light, so it’d make sense for them to treat a pack animal approach as the new, ’good’ alternative for the modern hive.
Further support of this could be the fact that everyone, Thorax included referred to the hive as a ’pack’ in the episode where Thorax met Ember.
How do they breed now, though? Considering that having specialized caste of individuals whose role is exclusively to breed is one of the criteria that differentiate a hive from a regular pack, I just wonder if Steve Thorax actually found himself a queen to get busy with.

I bet she was happy to let them celebrate their good fortune in having her as their leader. You know, the whole hive gets together and gets to tell Chrysalis how wonderful she is.
