Well. That is how certain groups work. Busybodies need outrage. But I believe victimless crimes should never exist. If no one fills a complaint, it should be legal. If no one is hurt, it should be legal. And I am sure a cartoon pony will not fill a complaint.

It is possible if one is honest. By making it evident it is just a picture, and that the ones complaining got something worse in themselves, it is easy.

Dunno who rules you or where are you from. But the problem is not a president. They are all the same after all. The real issue is the people. They are the ones who make demands, and they sometimes do not even know their laws and walk in perpetual moral outrage with an overton window so narrow they are stuck in it too.  
I have tried to point scientific facts to both left and right wing supporters only to be met with knee jerk reactions. Even people close to mine told me “It is no use telling them facts. The ‘normal people’ follow emotion and you must appeal to that. If you want to make them understand a fact you must appeal to fear when there is no hatred, and when there is hatred you must redirect it.”  
Congress, senate, presidents, prime ministers, parlaments, it is all useless if the people does not know facts.

The problem is not even this site, the problem, the actual problem, is society, media outrage, and of course, those who make laws based on it. But that is something we can only deal with when we sit and think “Well. Who was harmed by this?” And if no one was, then reformulate the rules.  
Rules should never be about taking freedom away, but about making sure all individuals are free to pursue their own wellbeing.  
A drawing has no wellbeing to pursue, so no one is harmed by it existing unless it calls for harm and said harm is enacted. Even the the whole concept of “hate speech” sounds ridiculous to me.  
If I yell “Kill my neighbor!” I should only be persecuted if someone carries my command, otherwise I should be seen as a moron.

I’m right there with you. As long as it’s not an pic of an actual child/piece of art depicting an actual child in a sexual situation, I’m A-OK with it. It’s just a drawing, and will never be anything but just a drawing.
 
B to the law, drawn pictures of underage characters in sexual situations are a bit…iffy. While they don’t exactly say art of underage cartoon characters is illegal, I believe the way it’s written, they could still get in trouble, even though it’s not depicting an actual child.
 
So as I said, for the sake of the site, better safe than sorry.
 
Then again, I could be COMPLETELY wrong about this, so take this with a grain of salt.

I was just saying, even humanized, lolicon art, DRAWINGS are perfectly legal, as they don’t depict an REAL LIFE child in a sexual situation. An ANTHRO (or Furry) version, is even LESS real, it’s akin to full on ponies, just that they stand upright.

That is irrelevant. As I said. What matters is sitting and taking a few minutes with oneself to figure out what is what one truly thinks. I said prohibition never works, separate from this place. All things made illegal find their black market.

Because prohibition is very effective. I fear the day people just snap and we see an Alphonse Capone of actual child pornography as a long term result of banning even drawings. But whatever. The current hysteria won’t stop if we don’t sit down and have a bit of introspection.

Awhile back, due to the laws about that kind of art where they are, they had to ban porn of human and anthro versions of the underaged characters. It’s unfortunate, but better safe than sorry.

It’s more along the lines of it wouldn’t be allowed on this site if it hadn’t been changed.
 
The original version also just looked pretty silly the way it was.
