I think the reason she wouldn’t notice the not-growing might have to do with the fact that she IS growing. Think about it. We don’t know if this is Equestria with nanytes which essentially can multiply and transform.

english isn’t her first language. and it seems like decent enough english, to me. there’s a “double but” in there, but otherwise my only complaint would be the dialogue is too wordy. it’s always tempting to use too many words, when you really feel strongly about what you’re trying to communicate, native speaker or not.

This is a great concept, but for your sake I hope english isn’t your first language. You know you could just get someone to translate for you.

doesn’t matter anyway, only the original creator of sweetie bot would be able to fix her, probably not even from there world, you think a species who has barely gotten past houses made of basic materials would be able to make a robot or device as complex as sweetie bot? they don’t even have basic guns invented yet anyless rockets or miniguns, and you cant use magic as an excuse because even that has it’s limits, I doubt even the princesses would be able to create something like her without some kind of guide atleast. the best individual suited for the repair of sweetie bot would be doctor whooves or someone who knows how to fix clocks.

sweetie should probably mention that if she gets repaired, she might be dangerous to others. if they planted her in place of the real one, then she was designed by foalnappers…

For a detail-oriented pony, I find this Rarity to be rather lacking in common sense. Flesh and metal are never the same thing and cannot on their own, become something else. It would require manipulation by an external factor, and a lot of complicated science and probably energy to transit atomic compositions through the addition and/subtraction of electrons and protons and neutrons. Flesh never becomes metal when exposed to entropic forces, time, and other various factors. In addition to this, the organic lifeform is far too complicated to become a robot, even if molecular conversion were to take place. To have organic flesh become something like a motherboard with the metallic ‘nerves’ to connect everything to the central computer/brain just isn’t possible. Therefore, even if Sweetie Belle’s consciousness was transferred into a robotic body, it would not have occurred without external influence, such as a team of scientists and engineers.

Rarity seems too readily accepting of the fact that her little sister is, for some reason, a robot.

I would debate the ‘robots can’t grow up’ part. With some sort of internal manufacturing and repair systems, theoretically she could expand her chassis and other systems as needed to maintain the illusion of aging. (And yes, I did see exactly this used in a Sweetiebot fanfic).
