That’s why I stopped using Patreon. Putting in so much work for a whole year and not a single person became a patron. All that work and I received $0.
I’m honestly extremely glad you’re okay. I was genuinely afraid something happened to you. Hopefully your burnout hasn’t put you off artwork for good; you’re extremely talented. :)
Burnout happens. The way I personally found a way around it was to just work on a project when I was in the mood to work on it - compared to just pushing it through. Pushing does work sometimes, but if I find if I push too often it makes the whole thing feel less fun and demotivates in the long run.
Whenever you feel like making more though you have fans eager to see your return. :D
I think he had something serious in IRL, and he gave up this project for personal reasons. Maybe he wanted to make the best project in his life, but fell into depression. As it sometimes happens with talented people.
But it seems to me that he is dead, and we will remain content with what’s there, and we will not see the completion of the project. It is a pity to lose such talented people.
I am ready to support him now on Patreon, but I think it no longer makes sense and is useless.
I’m starting to think Ohmudak died IRL last year and we’ve been asking a dead man to continue a project. The fact that he hasn’t responded to ANYTHING social media related since May last year is a heavy indicator that he’s no longer alive.
