I see now, yes. As he said I thought you meant NMM and Daybreaker are the inverse of their normal forms. But yes, the two sisters work as inverse of each other too.
Yes, I noticed my initial comment says Tia, Daybreaker, Luna and Nightmare. But I couldn’t edit it to say just Daybreaker and Nightmare. so I just tried to drop it, instead it ran on and to hopefully drop it again I added link to the image I was referencing with a little bit of passive aggressive wording cause it’s the internet.

Oh, know I understand what you mean. Still, I think it being just a coincidence or subconscious is much more out there then them just trying out color combinations and having access to an invert filter.
They don’t just have an epiphany and know exactly how to draw a new character.

I mean that I want them to have actually thought “what if we just invert her color scheme” and then ran with it. It’s entirely possible that it was just a coincidence or a subconscious choice.
