A: Funny you should mention that - as of today, this blog has become part of the Sunlight Horizons universe as well as the ScisetDiary universe - so the majority of Nighty and PB’s love story will be canon to both.
However, in the Sunlight Horizons timeline, Nighty and PB stayed together and formed a polyamorous relationship of sorts leading to two more children in the family - Golden Hour and Stargazer Lily.
So yes, the story happens years before - one version of the future has them not end up together and one does.

I accepted this ship because I liked it, not because it was forced on me. Kindly refrain from fighting for people who never asked for it in the first place, especially when you’re under the dillusion that apparently we’re being forced into this.
If you don’t like it, feel free to look elsewhere for what you do. But don’t waste time for the rest of us by spending your own complaining about such trivial matters.
I can assure you with 200% certainty that the artist does not force their ship on everyone. They present an idea, explain it, characterize it, and sell it. Everyone who hears it is then free to decide for themselves if they like it and/or want to include it.
Is it unusual, or even a little ‘cracky’? Yeah, sure. But its never shoved down anyone’s throats or forced upon them. And if that’s not your cup of tea, you’re free to move on! Artists are allowed to draw what they want when they want.
