@Cyan Lightning
Browsing on a 3DS is nice and all but it’s so weird compared to a computer or other mobile device. But since my other mobile device crashes frequently, this is the better choice for me at the moment.
@Binkyt11
That too. I personally think this picture is gorgous. I favorited it long before it was featured.
@Cryosite
Filters still work on the featured image. It just shows the spoiler image instead of the actual image.
Also, the tone of your “constructive criticism” is the kind of thing that turns artists away from art. You’re adding nothing of value by coming to the comments to rant that you don’t like dark images and changelings, not to mention having the audacity to call this image “kind of a mess” and “unappealing to look at”. Some artists appreciate critique, and you’re free to dislike stuff, but you need to learn to tone it down. Try making friends and having constructive conversation with them. And if you’re just here to cause an uproar, you’ll realize sooner or later that you’re stuck in a vicious cycle of misery.
@Cryosite
A recent featured image had an artist tag I hid and the image in the feature section was shown with the default Celestia spoiler image… I’m not sure if it may help you, but for me it definitely did.
@Mikey
No one is forcing you to respond to me, either. Do you feel like you are “more right” if you get the last word and I go silent as you seem to want?
I’d request you stop being so hostile and antagonistic, please. Just because you disagree with my opinion doesn’t give you the freedom to break rule #0 that you’re supposed to be upholding as an enforcer of the rules. Why would you be so keen on encouraging someone from not participating in the site?
You responded to my constructive criticism. I ignore your response because I’m not terribly interested in discussing it with you; you’re not the artist I don’t particularly care if you disagree with my criticism. If it doesn’t make sense to the artist, I will explain myself better to him/her/it.
A [site dev] mentioned site development concerns, so I responded there. I see no such tag under your name, and I have no interest in your opinion on that topic either. Nor do I appreciate your assessment of my knowledge (or lack thereof) on the topic. Again, try to be excellent to each other, right?
And, back to this most recent reply to me. You really don’t have to. No one is forcing you to reply to me. Feel free to not reply to this. That will work much better for having me not reply at all, and everyone will be much happier for it, right? Replying to me several times certainly indicates your eagerness to have a conversation with me, but I will once again point out that I’m not terribly interested.
@Princess Luna
Consider this one more vote for “maybe raise that priority from 0.00000001 to 0.000000010001. Thanks. Maybe someday it will reach priority 1.0 and be worked on.”
As for filtering, we don’t have the dev capacity right now, realistically. I think the fix would be rather simple, but it’s extremely low priority (we only feature safe images).
