Nice pure assumption without any insight of how the staff worked back then. Oh, don't look at me. Neither am I. But I think that your statement is based on solid ground. And by the way, the ship started with season 1 "Swarm of the Century" and I'm pretty sure Lauren Faust was aware of it. If I ever have the honor to meet her, I will ask her politely. Seriously, the problem is not the fact if or if not LyraBon is canon or not. The problem is, that there will be not confirmation from Hasbro, because it could damage the trademark. LTGB couples aren't common as they should be. Not in a kids show. As I said before in this thread, I wish it would be different. But it's not. And I highly doubt that Hasbro will make it canon before G4 ends. Actually I doubt that they ever will. But I don't have a problem with that, because as long as there isn't a "No!" there is still room for this headcanon. And the ship can sail further on. I don't need some confirmation as long as there is no negation. Only my personal humble opinion. With the same legitimacy as your wish for confirmation. Just don't get bitter because you don't get it. ;-)
