With this, there is hope for this ambiguous (but cmon it’s clearly canon) relationship to be expanded in the comics, which are also aimed at a more mature audience. Of course, this wont end people saying “it’s not really canon until they are shown in the series to be having full on sex.”
But There is hope of seeing it confirmed in words in other media. But what we’ve got so far for me at least, it enough as far as evidence goes. I do enjoy seeing them constantly pop up though, and hope to see more proof come in.

As for these comments saying “It’s okay to see their relationship however you want, as a couple or just friends.” well, not really. That’s kinda massively awful to view a gay couple as “just good friends” as that’s actually a reality they often live. Lesbians being called good friends is a painfully common thing heard from those who are so hateful towards the idea that they’d prefer to pretend it’s not real. And that’s very hurtful to say, that someone’s relationship isn’t real.

Though I trust Hasbro never intended that and meant to do quite the opposite. I’ll still take what I can get, and not focus on the unfortunate implications. They’ve given us a gay couple. Even in this awkward way, that’s still brave. But the fandom really do need to accept it for what it is, and not be so literal minded that they’re falling for the trick Hasbro are using to avoid getting in trouble in certain countries. They’re canon gay. And that’s lovely.
