Trixie would be PURE BLUE. Control and illusions.
 
Twilight: Blue and Black. Power of the mind and self-sacrifice.
 
Applejack: Pure Green. Honest to goodnest streight.
 
Fluttershy: Green and White. A animal based token deck.
 
Rarity: Pure White. Will not play any duel. Instead, only two-headed giant with a deck that give life and lots of protective and supportive spells.
 
Rainbow Dash: Pure Red. Lots of haste and direct damage.
 
Pinkie Pie: Also Pure Red. A deck with lots of chaotic magic and artefacts with lots of random consequences such as “flip-a-coin”.
 
Zecora: Green and Black. The misterious arts of life and death from the dephts of the Everfree.
 
Pricess Celestia: Pure White, with lots of soldies and pegasus, for justice!
 
Luna: Pure Black. The untapped power of the night is her’s to command!
 
Marie Sue: All five colors, with the most rare, expensive, and powerful cards.

Twi seems like a red player. She reminds me of this really smart defense attorney I know; he finds the lessened interactivity relaxing after a long day of deep thought.

Seriously though, I don’t know a thing about Magic: the Gathering except it’s really popular in tabletop gaming circles.

Fluttershy would play all colours - she’d simply pick the cards that “look cute”.

Naw. If anything, trixie would be a Red-Black with blue control, with a high focus on discarding and direct damage.

Yeah, Twilight is totally blue-white control, while Trixie plays a more aggressive blue-black deck.

I can see Rainbow Dash playing red. She is obviously going to value speed and aggressiveness so I’d imagine mostly cheap direct damage spells along with a couple of monsters with haste.

Yeah, if anything, Blue with maybe a bit of white seems more closer to what Twilight would play. Trixie would play as well, but maybe with a bit of red or black.

Psycho, Rainbow would be like Joey in YGO before he got a real deck (first few episodes)
