It’s a stereotypical highschool teen series. It would be obvious for Hasbro to make them all straight. If they would grow a pair to actually depict a lesbian couple, i think they would turn Lyra and Bon Bon into official one. There is no reason for them to make more lesbian couples just to earn even more point in LGBT community, especially with main characters.
Still, in fanfics all of them COULD be into girls, too. Nothing in canon can ever prove that they aren’t bisexual. It’s just from the format of the show that I believe to assume that they won’t be into girls in canon.

Me asking “Maybe they were never meant to be gay?” was a rhetorical question. Of course these characters were not created with homosexuality in mind. My argument is that deathsia shouldn’t have expected them to be.
I can say with absolute certainty that the creators did not intend to make the M6 gay, otherwise this picture wouldn’t exist. So, yes, these characters weren’t made to be gay.

This is my point. Characters, from children’s shows or not, don’t necessarily need to have a sexuality. deathisa over there is getting salty because these characters didn’t turn out to be the gay representation he/she wanted them to be.

I remember some guy was ranting off to me how kids under the age of 15 shouldn’t know that homosexuality is a thing since it’ll “stress them out” and that I was pushing my so-called SJW-bullshit onto kids because I want them to learn about sex.

When my AUTISTIC 8yr old nephew can fully understand what it means to be gay or lesbian and form his own opinion with no outside influence, I fail to understand or see why people continue to sensor this shit.
No, I’m not saying the whole main six are lesbians but I’d bet you dollars to bits that Pinkie and/or Fluttershy are at the very least Bi-Curious and Lyra and Bon-Bon are a full-blown lesbian couple.
