Actually at this Point we habve seen the world of MLP doesn't operate on the same laws for day and night as ours because it has been day and night at the same time with the sun and moon being in the sky and the sky was split exactly 50/50 day and night with all the stars being visible in the night half despite the sun being out.



 
 
I don't think the planet would have the same issues ours would with eternal night.
