The joke makes sense given the target audience of the image, which is, in significant part, guys with fetishes like this.
 
Of course it’s not going to apply to everyone, but no joke will.
 
In fact, your original comment (“nobody wants this”) is the one that’s demonstrably false: there are people who want this (for example: me, several other people in the comments, and likely a significant fraction of the upvotes/faves on this image).
 
I just feel like you’re taking the joke too seriously. It’s a meme, it’s not meant to be taken literally. You don’t need to like it, but (almost) nobody actually cares if it’s not actually “true”.

Did you know that jokes are subjective so something you may find funny; someone else might not? So limiting an image to being good or bad just because it doesn’t fill your sense of humor is contradictory to the purpose of the joke. If you don’t find it funny, there’s a wonderful little “downvote” button to mechanically express your dislike with the content of the image which even then is a pretty far stretch of the use of the downvote button. Needless to say, simply going “Nobody wants this” and then complaining about “M-Muh criticism!” is an ill-attempt at actually providing any actual criticism. Word to the wise, being “critical” is not providing “criticism”.
