I got a story prompt for this one.
 
Futajack’s been fairly neglectful of her feminine side, and Rarity got fed up with her failed attempts at making Applejack embrace it. Rarity found an excuse to invite her to a high-class party and made a special dress just for that occasion. Applejack had her own reasons to attend, but the problem was, the beautiful dress Rarity made was pretty tight and wouldn’t even make an attempt to hide AJ’s huge junk. Fortunately, Twilight came up with a spell to (until the end of the party, of course) turn AJ’s horse cock into a proper mare equipment, which is more space-efficient for the dress. AJ, not used to wearing any underpants, naturally goes commando, and Rarity takes an advantage of that by giving AJ a mind blowing magic-induced orgasms she’s never experienced before by tweaking her new clit.
 
I’m not sure how would the story continue from that point and to what conclusion, and what Pinkie’s role in it would be, but as far as clopfics go, that wouldn’t be a bad prompt, would it?

I did read it, I just decided to ignore it because it was just stupid. An no, it would still be a paywall. Early access would imply it has a fixed delivery date later on and you are paying for the benefit of getting it before that. Such is not the case. You are still whining about not getting free stuff and throwing around labels in an attempt to make others join your claims artist shouldn’t get paid for what they do, the very person artist speak of why they stop drawing for. How so? In both cases people who wish to pay get a better experience, but everyone can access it anyway. Your attempt at reframing the analogy has only reinforces my position you are whining about not getting something you would not have gotten either way without paying.
 
If it were a time delay thing, where the pictures get available to everyone else weeks or months later, the paywall claim might hold some ground, but in this case you are literally whining about not being given preferential treatment for free.

but this is charging depending on size , high res is not an “extra thing” , it’s the original thing , and the thing being presented is a lower quality product , whether the image resolution size is what would be considered a thumbnail or not is irrelevant , the same principle is occurring to which you say you see our point with…..

Well, I just woke up without a hangover and can safely say iamli3 and Background Pony #14D2 are talking retardese. This is not previous service provide to you, this extra stuff that they are making available to those that want it for a fee while still allowing you to see the image in a reasonable filesize. If dimwit starts giving out thumbnails, grading the image size, and charging depending on size (like Dr. Comet tried to do for a while), I might see your point, but currently this is like you going to a free concert and wondering why you have to pay for beer.

On the one hand, we’re getting it for free, and I know a lot of online artists do struggle to support themselves.  
On the other hand, this kind of tactic tends to seriously hurt your reputation and scares your audience away.
