College is amazing, and people are sane. It wouldn’t hurt anyone if some 12 year old had access to their library and got tutored on elementary subjects. They would be engaged, they wouldn’t be afraid to hold their head up, they would have a chance. But who’s going to pay for that? Whos going to get them there? Their dad would probably just beat their ass for being a giant pain, and threaten them into staying in the school where they get tormented.

It’s precisely attitudes like yours that create these kinds of individuals in the first place. I’ll admit, providing the proper support for them is by no means an easy task, but it’s definitely not impossible either. We can help them as long as we’re willing to put in the effort. There’s a reason why other developed countries see significantly less gun violence (and no, it’s not because they have no crazy people). The only thing writing them off as a lost cause will accomplish is reaffirming their dangerously skewed perspective of the world and pushing them over the edge.

That glock your dad always sits on is sometimes next to his couch stand, and when the bus comes he’s often unconscious in the other room. It’s got 16 rounds, and another clip. You’re shaking, you’re about to vomit, but you grab that gun and sneak into the hallway. Pull back the slide, grip it with both hands, and line up the iron sights. Fuck it, atleast in prison you’ll get some respect.

Even trying to stop them takes dedication no one has. Everyone acts like a bleeding heart for a while after something happens, but then they go right back to letting kids get ostracized and bullied.
 
If a kid is consistently rejected by his peers, he needs to be removed from mainstream school, and put in an environment of professional adults. If a kid is ostrocized by kids, the kid needs to be validated, and redeemed by sane people. If a kid is pushed around and called ‘faggot’ all day, the kid deserves a chance to study with adults.
 
The solutions are so fucking easy, but they’ll never happen. Because deep down, PEOPLE DON’T CARE.

He’s not wrong, though. It’s one thing to make jokes about school shootings, but can we at least have the decency to not make them right after an actual school shooting has occurred? That said, this is 4-chan we’re talking about, and it wouldn’t be fair of me to expect decency from them.

Are you honestly insinuating that school shootings are a part of human nature and that we should just let them happen? That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

Lets use a prototypical genetic variation for example. Bipolar. When an extremely manic and emotionally unstable kid becomes ostracized for his group disruptive behavior.
 
The group has rejected the anomaly, and damaged his chances of fruitful procreation. The group has suppressed the faulty gene, by falling in line, and hooting like monkeys.
 
The rejected subject feels his validity challenged, and he has the human instinct to use everything in his power to validate himself again, to prove that his mutation is beneficial, and if not desired, dominant. So he shows up to math class with an Uzi, and starts doing some subtraction.
 
Now the power dynamic of this faulty gene has changed. Bipolar people become feared, and romanticized, the become cartoon villains like Harley Quinn, and ‘Sexually desirable.’ Even though the rejected kid is serving consecutive life sentences, with no chance to procreate, he still validated his behavioral patterns and genetics.
 
Conclusion: It’s going to happen again, and again, because evolution is callous, judgemental, the burning pressure on all of our lives, and is the creator of sentience, happiness, love, and awareness. We’re on one twisted rollercoaster, and the seat-belt ain’t coming off any time soon.

I mean even this school shooting. In group sociology, evolution has favored that some kids get ostracized from the group for exhibiting undesirable genetic traits. Sometimes these ‘undesired traits’ are an extremely volatile, and formidable force, that attempts to reassert dominance over in the genepool.
 
Before recorded history outcast and rejects have just shown up and started wasting people.
 
My point is, as tragic as it may be, it’s a part of human nature, and as the years pass, eventually a handful of people are going to die here and there, as the result of evolutionary and social pressure.
 
However we are taught to act like it’s a breakdown of society, that we all need to give up and there weapons and live in fear.
 
The real ‘scientific’ breakdown of society is marked by the Anthropocene, when mankind has irreversibly damaged the ecosystem, and threatened its own existence, just like the oxygen crisis of the anaerobic lifeforms. The Trinity testing is the proposed start date for this epoch. The detonation of a plutonium fission nuclear device within Earths atmosphere was the single most insane thing, that involved the combined effort and group insanity of many world powers. If any event should change the world, it should have been this.
