I completely disagree.
Not all change is good, and Starlight is a prime example of that. Way better characters than her are getting shafted so they can focus on someone whose weak backstory pretty much kills any chance she has of being a good character.
And Twilicorn did end up making Twilight into a pretty bland character, so their track record with major changes isn’t very good as of now.
kinda sad that the great artists had to be some of them.
Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Screw the screamers, they’re weak.
There are of course exceptions to every rule but in my mind the people who moan about Starlight are exactly the same to me as the people who moaned about Twilicorn. The people who don’t like changes and think the show is ruined forever as a result. They behave the same, you know what they say if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. Its probably a duck.
I’ll be laughing when the next target of Drama shows up and Starlights not the enemy anymore. Let us be angry about this new thing now grrrr

Sunset Shimmer?
To kill: Sunset, even though I hate Starlight more, Sunset needs to get knocked down a peg. Too popular.
There’s nothing wrong with not liking Glimmer either. And no, we are not the same sort of people that hate Twilight’s wings. I dislike Starlight, but have always embraced alicorn Twilight.
Most people like Starlight Glimmer actually, theres a very loud vocal minority of Starlight haters. These are the same sort of people who hate Princess Twilight for having wings.
Evidence? Starlight has won public polls for being the best pony in a season and thats after she became good.
Theres nothing wrong with liking Glimmer.
