Tbh i really love gen 4 but 5 might be set in the future where these are the reincarnation of the main 6 due to them being forever linked to the tree of harmony, where they dont remember anything from there past lives and have to learn everything & help others…

Companies never intentionally ruin things, and yet they still do. They always lose money by chasing after money. If they chased after quality instead of money, they would have gained more money, but they’re too blind to realize that.

They won’t ruin Fluttershy or Twilight.  
Firstly, these concepts aren’t final and most likely will change before G5 rolls around (which won’t be until at least a couple more years, if not later)  
Secondly, the Twilight and Fluttershy in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will be completely different characters from the Twilight and Fluttershy in the next installment of the My Little Pony franchise; Hasbro just reuses names of ponies in MLP for the same reasons they reuse names of characters in Transformers  
Finally, if the next iteration of MLP does ruin the names of Fluttershy and/or Twilight (or any of the other characters for that matter), Hasbro would lose a large amount of profit and potential for profit growth, so they’d want to avoid that at all costs

Don’t get your undies in a bunch. This is a completely different Fluttershy. The one we have now isn’t going to change. Likewise what we saw in the leaks was just concept designs. Concepts that can change when the show officially comes out in a few years time.
