In all his years traveling Equestria, Discord had never seen such a sight.
 
Two fillies, sisters, with the strange gift of both flight and magic. What was an intriguing discovery to him, was a terrible omen to their village. The little ponies hadn’t even earned their cutie marks yet, but here they were…Cast from their home, with only each other and their terrible curse.
 
The mares in the stars surely had a plan for these two, Discord was sure.
 
“Discord, what’s so fun about chaos? Isn’t it bad?”

Discord wasn’t always a crazed God of Chaos. Once upon a time, he was a recluse, last of his kind, with just his chaos research as his companion. The ponies of Equestria were highly superstitious, and their fears and traditions were interesting to observe. Particularly, two earth pony sisters who were suddenly gifted with wings and horns…
 
Their own kind turned on them, but the draconequus took them in. He taught them, showed them the world. Unfortunately, as they were on the cusp of learning their destinies, his chaos magic overwhelmed him.
