The characters of MLP FIM were also quite complex. Twilight loved books sure but she also had the mentality of a scientist. Always try to find new knowledge and more understanding. The times she freaked out was when there was no answer to be found. Like when she wanted to know what she should do for a friendship report and the only answer was to dismiss it. Or when she tried to unravel the enigma of Pinkie Pie's powers. (I still hate that episode because it feels like Twilight is being punished for trying to understand things.).
She also had many instances of rallying others and showing off her charisma and somewhat dominant nature.
Yet she also wasn't without her flaws like getting quickly irritated at time wasters or irrational behavior and sometimes being a little entitled though she still tries to be humble.
If you can't tell Twilight was by far my favorite character because she really felt like how I did. Someone from a very sheltered enviroment having to deal with new things. She had absolute faith in her idol, a large technical variety of skills to use, a strong work ethic and everything else that comes with being from the higher class. She even had the very uneven maturity level of someone from a sheltered enviroment with them being even higher than most adults in how the larger world works and how to do proper social interactions. Yet being little more than a child with more casual or spontaneous things or having a childlike awe and admiration for her idols.
