Wrestlemania 19’s revenge mode was something really unique for a wrestling game.
 
Day of Reckoning 2 since it had great graphics for the Gamecube, great moves like the capoeira kick and dangerous back drop and had a hint of strategy when building your superstars stats. Stamina system was a bitch though, as well as the fatal-4-way cage match in the story mode at Summerslam
 
Smackdown vs Raw 2007 for the streamlined modes they introduced in SVR 2006
 
WWE 14 for its history of Wrestlemania mode, bringing all the greats together.
 
WWE All-Stars for its arcade feel

Point for me is, don’t give 2k/Yukes the Money & rather give Spike Chunsoft the Bucks for the tremendous Work they put in their Pro Wrestling Series!

Because bigger devs think they can get away with less and less work the higher up on the mountain they are whereas smaller indie devs need to put forth actual effort to get noticed and turn a profit on development costs. Bigger devs think their formula is infallible once they eventually find something that works and will either rarely stray from it or make the most minimal changes to the formula to give the illusion of being new, with them only creating something ACTUALLY new either once enough people have caught onto their practices or the company itself is in dire financial straits.
 
Lets look at Nintendo in 2015 for example. The Wii U was an unquestionable bomb at that point, and the Switch was still quite a ways away. Nintendo wasn’t just bleeding money, they were a god damn blood bank. Nintendo is also notoriously stubborn when it comes to creating new spinoffs, let alone entire IPs. And this was something the fanbase also caught onto. Well with Nintendo bleeding money the way they were, they figured the only thing that could save them was an entirely new IP: Splatoon. And keep in mind this was Nintendo’s first new major IP since Pikmin over 10 years prior. While Splatoon itself wasn’t enough to save the Wii U, it still proved to be a major success relative to the Wii U’s sales. Now Nintendo won’t stop marketing the hell out of Splatoon!

I already see the Lazy Things that 2k/Yukes did once again for 2k19! Why does a Little Developer like the FPWW Makers put more Effort in their Games than the Bigger Developer? Is it really the Laziness that 2k/Yukes shows, or is it more than just That? :o

FPWW gets DLC at some Point with New NJPW Roster Inclusions like Ospreay, Liger, Switchblade etc. :) #FPWW #BetterThan2K

Oh a switch version is practically guaranteed at this point. If major games like Doom, the N.Sane trilogy and now Saints Row are looking to make a home on switch, an indie game would have to be stupid not to go to switch. Maybe FPWW will even have cross platform play like Fortnite and Minecraft.

2k19 seems to look the exact Same as the Years before! Tyler Bate’s Model is the Definition of Lazyness!

Nods in agreement I wholeheartly agree with You! Day of Reckoning on the Gamecube was pretty Fun, would be nice if that Engine would make an Comeback for the Switch… I know it’s wishful thinking.

I hope Fire Pro Wrestling World sells well enough on the PS4, so a Switch Version can be happening! Will be far more fittable for the Switch than the Bug poisoned WWE 2k Series! :o

They aren’t even bothering with a switch version this year. They bungled up the switch port of 2k18 so bad that they aren’t even trying to create a switch version.

Good on Them to put Styles on the Cover for this years Game, but the Game itself won’t be as good as Fire Pro Wrestling World that will be released on PS4 at August 28th in NA & August 31th in Europe! :)

AJ Styles has to be on the Cover of 2k19! If they put Boreman Drains on the Cover instead, the Boos will be Defeaning! :o
