It was going to be said by one of us anyway, don’t worry about it.
 
Plus, it’s refreshing to have a Twilight who doesn’t live to please Celestia. Sci Twi actually tries to have fun with her friends wholeheartedly, she’s a very different and much more flushed out character then pony Twi. While hasbro is obsessed enough with Starlight to make her a guest in one or two more webisodes, there’s no practical way to make her more important then the main characters in the EG’s series as well.
 
Of course if they find a human Starlight, all bets are off.

I don’t consider Twilight and Sci-Twi to be the same character. At all. So that point is a bit moot, for me.

Well, at least it’s not Starlight…

She just lacks the things I found most interesting about Princess Twilight. She seems less wise, experienced and confident than the Princess. Also I prefer Princess Twilights design. Science is a plus, though.

Remember the deleted scenes from Friendship Games? Twilight might not even in the EG series as a series regular if those scenes remain unchanged.

I fail to see your point. Twilight was going to be in any given EQG series no matter what.
