The cool Brazilian wind @jonfawkes and I were talking recently and decided we should make something together for Halloween since we both draw a fair amount of human horse women. This is the product of our achievement (we each sketched a girl, he did lines, and I did color). For some reason it seemed obvious that Sunset should be the one in a devil outfit. I hope everyone enjoys this and has an increasingly spooky month. It was quite fun making this with Jon.
Are you saying Sunset mind-controlling people so they would become her army isn’t evil? What about trying to kill Twilight and friends for standing up to her?
I still think Starlight is more evil, though, but Sunset wasn’t just a bully. Starlight was also a bully who would attack and punish anyone who didn’t do what she told them to.
I’d say that Sunset was smarter, however, even if her plan was extremely straightforward and simple. All of Starlight’s plans were stupid and short sighted. Her village was a failure, it produced nothing of any value what so ever and her leadership was poor. Her style of management was like telling a scientist to be a brick-layer, a surgeon to be a toilet-cleaner and a master chef to be a window cleaner. If her village was anything to go by, any world she would have created would have regressed technologically, scientifically, artistically, philosophically and socially to pre-civilization levels. And of course, her counter-plan to being usurped of her village was to destroy the space-time-continuum, again, because she is so short-sighted that she thinks that only her pathetic little village will be the thing that is affected if she prevents Twilight and co. from becoming friends.
To her credit as a character, though, more of Starlight’s old self was retained when she was reformed, wheras with Sunset, she became a completely different character. I really wish Sunset was the “bad girl” of the group, allowing her to retain more of her original personality.
Devil costume is still more appropriate for Sunset. You can rationalize Starlight’s angel costume if you consider her to be wearing it ironically.
Sunset didn’t amount to much more than a bully, Starlight didn’t legitimately evil things and got away with them, hence why I think she deserves the devil costume more.
So what? Sunset was evil too, and she actually became a demon. She takes priority on that costume.
Okay, I really didn’t want to be ‘that guy’, but the reason I said what I did was because of the all the inhumanely evil things that Starlight did, and even worse, got away with. Happy that I finally said it? I’m not.
I really don’t. No matter how I look at it, the devil costume suits Sunset more.
Just think about Starlight’s history, and you’ll get what I mean.
She also became an angel, but she can’t wear both suits.
Oh well, I liked devil her more.

I don’t see the logic there. Everyone knows that a devil costume is most appropriate on Sunny, given that one time she actually became a demon.
I like how the styles mesh cleanly and yet displays the differing figure priorities and techniques each artist has. ^^
