See, I have this particular love of making other people hot and bothered. When not only do I find something sexy but a bunch of other people all find it sexy, it just magnifies the hotness. Its part of why I draw my own smut as well, to turn other people on and give them something to enjoy.

Well, I was more talking strictly unwilling prey. Personally, I find willing prey vore even more unappealing. I’m kinda really picky with silly things sometimes. I mean I’m not completely against it and I have no issue with anyone else liking it of course. Just personal preference.

For me I’m quite against anything fatal with vore.
 
My explanations are simply that I think far too much into it. I don’t simply consider the prey’s feelings both physical and emotional but I also consider those of relatives, friends, and bystanders in the case of a public display. It tends to bother me even more when a relative eats another relative.
 
I think about the feelings of all individuals involved, even if not directly. That is where my strong dislike of it comes from. Watching someone you love, like, or simply just know be eaten by someone else with the outcome that you would never see them again, never speak to them again, and never interact with them again… All for someone’s one-off fetish or snack. Everything about it bothers me.
 
A lot of it revolves around me not being able to look at it as the entirely fictional thing that it is and I tie far more feeling to it then it should probably ever have. But I can’t really change my outlook on it. It’s just how I am in regards to it.

I don’t care about people being ostracizing when it comes to stuff I like. If they want to complain or don’t like it or if it triggers them, it’s really not my issue. I’m not going to like something less because other people have some stupid issue with it. As for repeated in-universe vore, I’m the opposite of you there. I kinda have a thing for bad ends and there’s something about the prey being reduced to basically a meal that I like. I wouldn’t say I’m into humiliation, either though, but there’s definitely something there I really like about a character unwillingly being reduced to a snack and digested. I’m also not into non-fatal vore because…Well, it’s just less appealing as a fetish to me. It would mean either full tour (and I’m generally not into butt stuff, especially if it gets messier, same reason I’m not into anal vore) or it would mean the prey being spit up, then presumably vore’d again at a later date, which just seems redundant to me I guess? Maybe that’s not the best description, but I guess there being no real consequences is part of it too.
 
I’m certainly not one to look for realism in my fetish art, but in that particular case I’d kinda be forced to ask why the prey wouldn’t go elsewhere if they’re a regular victim of being eaten and going through which ever process there is of coming back out.

I like both, though I tend to like the happy ending more just because it’s less ostracizing and I’m a generally lighthearted individual. Plus being able to have vore being something you can repeatedly do in-universe is extra hot, IMO. Negative consequences aren’t so much.

I share your sentiments. I’m a fan of vore, espicially if its done by Shrabby, but quite often their art tends to end with a less than happy ending. Hopefully we might be lucky with this one.

I’m intrigued and concerned… I know how a lot of these go when it starts off like this and I tend to not like the outcome.
