Heeeeey, Plant Child isn’t a child. Not here anyways.
 
Anyway I always wanted to draw her grown up and all. I did a sketch, the lines, and some coloring on the vines last night, and finished up the mane, tail, body, and eyes this morning. I’m actually really proud of how she came out. Considering she’s a literal earth pony, I made her plant-like. Anyway, her hair got bigger and a bit wild (Like a plant, it would make sense), but still reminiscent of her filly mane. Her tail has grown into a stick/branch with a small bundle of leaves at the end. Finally, as y’all can notice, she has quite a few vines on her. They first appeared when she was about 10 years old after she got her cutie mark (special thanks to GleamyDreams for the design). Although she was scared of what this meant, they were completely harmless, all she had to do was cut them off from time to time (pretty much puberty hit her like a bus).
 
 
In regards to the drawing, I used a fine sharpie and the tip would spilt from time to time, so I had to be careful with it. Came out pretty well though. And I used my Prismacolor markers finally! My cousin taught me about blending with markers like this, and I used it. For some of the vines, back… Leaves, hair, idk?… And the tail (it’s hard to see, but there’s a transition between the brown and green) and some leaves on it. I did the eyes, hair band, and body with colored pencil (I added a bit of red pen because to the red part of the eye because it was too close to the body color).
