“Mmm. Hmm. Delicious.” Starlight happily drops a final spoonful of sea salt ice cream into her mouth. As she waddles into Twilight’s kitchen, she tosses the plastic spoon and container into the nearest trash can. She belches as her heavy jelly belly swayed from side to side. “Alright, time to get started.”
 
She starts to prepare the kitchen for the large baking task that she promised her friends she would do. There was still one problem… Trixie was late… again. As much as she loved hanging out and doing stuff with Trixie, the blue pony’s habits can get beyond annoying. Without her, things just felt a lot more slower and sluggish.
 
As Starlight butters up the baking pan, Trixie finally walks in. “Oh, I see you didn’t get as much done as I thought.”
 
“That’s because I was on my own.” Starlight grunted to herself. In a clearer voice, she asks, “Where were you?”
 
“I was downtown, browsing bakeries, getting some ideas.” Trixie looks at Starlight for a moment, and tries to hold back her laughter. “So, how’s your diet going?”
 
Starlight grows a panicked blush to her cheeks. “Um, fine I guess.”
 
“How much weight did you lose?” Trixie asked in a teasing tone.
 
Starlight nervously tries to waddle away from Trixie. “Well, I mean, my weight has been going up and down lately. But I feel a little more fit.”
 
But Trixie ambushes Starlight and playfully puppets her front hooves up and down, singing a nursery rhyme just for the occasion, “Then why are you so jiggly now? And why the ice cream on your mouth?”
 
“Alright! I been cheating on my diet!” Starlight snapped, causing a vein to bulge on her neck. She takes a deep breath to calm herself. “We’ll talk about it later. Let’s just finish this.”
 
“Okay, let’s just hope you don’t eat all the cookie dough.” Trixie smirked.
