King Koopa is Bowser. It was his old name, used in merch’, and the old cartoons, because he’s known as “Koopa” in Japan, but nowadays outside Japan, his name is considered “King Bowser Koopa.”
It’s kinda like the “Robotnik/Eggman” naming confusion.

yea that is one thing that usually bothers and amuses me is that the kids are usually over looked cause “their just kids they dont know any better” when in fact their alot smarter than you give them credit for.
It was a child that had to point out the emperor had no clothes. Sometimes there’s some wisdom in the innocence of a child.

Indeed, it’s surprising how many are actually taking the episode as a personal-attack on all fans/critics too. (Just ’cause there were a few humorous fandom references, and in-jokes, but knowing Larson, and such they were meant to be light-hearted, and not the whole point of the episode.)
Maybe because they’re the target audience?
There’s a reason why in some folktales it’s a child that points out what everyone else seems to have overlooked.
