It’s an implied tag of flutterdash. If you put flutterdash tag on something, it gets lesbian because most of the time (the vast majority) it’s a Female/Female relationship.

I didn’t mean to cause any problems being vague about this picture all those years ago. So I want to help put it to rest and just say it’s a safe bet to just leave whatever shipping tags on here.

I’m not sure if I added this to favourites and then forgot straight away, or if it was just already in my favourites. I absolutely love how tranquil this image is. I can’t imagine having a bad mood whilst looking at this, and now I get to see it every time I visit Derpibooru. A good call on featuring it.

They present at the original upload two years ago. Someone, not naming any names, has been repeatedly trying to remove them because they apparently don’t want to see this tagged as shipping, even though it was clearly tagged with the ship when it was created, by the artist.
 
I stopped a pointless tag war and reverted an attempt at tag vandalism in order to preserve the tags that were originally present when the image was uploaded.

I can find only implicit evidence for the removal of the lesbian/shipping tags on this image. Looking at the artist’s gallery, other images were tagged with #shipping and #lesbian, including one specifically with only fluttershy and rainbow dash (that one explicitly given the #flutterdash tag as well). No evidence to contrary, and the image is over two years old and the artist has been regularly active on its comments section on his page since then, so it’s unlikely he merely forgot to add them; I motion to remove the shipping, lesbian, and flutterdash tags.

The artist said “It can be anything you want, really.” in reference to shipping in this image. So the shipping tag should be removed, as that was clearly someponys interpretation, on a mater that is up for interpretation. Your headcanons belong in the comments not the tags.
 
As for the lesbian and mare tags. There is nothing to support them, they should be removed.
