I feel like multiplayer shooters might not be for you then, one tends to be more effective when they coordinate with others... assuming they're trying to do more than just keep their k/d ratio up. I mean, me personally, if I want to be a one-man army my best bet is probably single-player as far as shooters go.


 
On the other hand, if I want to "go commando" I can do that while playing _*any_* game, or even no game at all!

I tend to like either really small matches (especially if the map's obviously designed to hold more than it's currently hosting), since it turns that into a tense game of hide-and-seek... or really large matches, simply because of the sheer amount of action. And also, because for some reason it's actually _*easier_* for me to get a good score in large battles - target-rich environment, after all!
