Yes, because that’s toxic behavior whether the actor is a “better” Joker, or not.
Truth be told, I actually kinda enjoyed “Suicide Squad.” (Now that I’ve seen it.)

what if it was the othwr way around where wb decide to do a Leto’s joker movie while Pheonix tries to Sabotage it, would you lose respect for Pheonix
It wasn’t bad, but I lost respect for the actor, when I heard he was trying to get that individual Pheonix “Joker” movie cancelled, out of jealousy, and because he wanted to be the only modern Joker.

I dunno, Jack Nicholson, Cesar Romaro, and some of his cartoon voices were quite memorable Jokers too.
Haven’t seen Suicide Squad, so I’d rather judge for myself.
Nice illustration, but I can’t get into that character.
