the light border goes around the entire head, not just one edge, like a scraper spatula, but not like a carving knife that just has one tapered edge. it's also wider and shorter than such a knife would be, and the handle is a lot longer in proportion to the head. also twilight uses it to scrape icing off the cupcakes, and she would never, _*ever_* use the wrong utensil.
