I’ve used the same toothbrush for a good few years, so I don’t see the logic there.
your current filter.Yeah, Spike’s toothbrush doesn’t look like that last we saw it. I like the idea that it’s Starlights since it’s probably from the crystal empire, where they would naturally have products reflecting Spike in some way.
That, and she shows great chemistry with him and seeing the two interact is generally a joy since Spike is able to play up his strengths.

And the thing is, I’m not paid to write for the show, nor do I have others breathing down my back to make sure I don’t mess up any details DURING said writing for the show.
So you know, maybe I’m not insane for thinking that a shows writers would want to be consistent Mkay? Mkay.

That’s not evidence enough. There is no way in hell a writer for a Season 7 episode would already know a one-note detail they want to include early enough to communicate that detail to the writer/animators for the Season 6 premier. You’re insane.

It’s not spikes because in one of the earlier episodes when Starlight is wandering the castle lost and opens a door to a bathroom, we see Spike brushing his teeth, with a plain purple brush. No dragony shape or look about it.
