Sega in the past has been, and of course still, is pretty scummy themselves, as are most Japanese companies by my understanding. And, well, I can’t really fault him for character flaws that I myself know I’m guilty of.  
He’s been involved in projects that have left there mark on the industry and my childhood, and I can’t help feel he deserves a wee bit of my respect. With a bit of research, I’m certain I could find far more prominent figures in the gaming industry who are downright evil by comparison.

True. A DECENT one, but a ripoff, nonetheless. And yes, Battleborn IS made by the same team behind Borderlands, so your argument makes sense on that note.

Randy seems like an alright guy, Battleborn seems like a meh game. That twitter exchange just comes off as rude and undeserved to me.
