Nah I have plenty of friends who I know want the best for me and I trust them completely. And I usually wishful think the same of new people who message me as well.  
I do get paranoid at times but try to suppress it until there’s more evidence of foul play.
 
That being said, each of my characters usually personifies different sections of my personality as a caricature. And Sapphire here got Envy, Paranoia, apathy and frugality. So what she’s saying here is sorta what the little metaphorical voice in my head says when I meet some new shady person and worry that they want to hurt me.

That’s how it went with me as well. I’m fairly certain that’s how it went with most bronies. Like the comic, TV, game, and furry fandoms before us, bronies are comprised mostly of outcasts brought together by common interests, yeah? :3

With that said, this was actually something I believed in for a long time since I had really really shit “friends” when I was a kid. It was only when I got older when I realized there’s a lot of nice people out there. Found out the reason why there were so many shit people around me was because I reacted so strongly to everything since my emotions were unbalanced at the time. Dunno where I’d be if I didn’t take meds at one point. Though I do run into a bunch of people that think this way so I kinda have to help them out every now and then. shrug  
(god I talk to much when I’m exhausted)
