I just love this whole written description of her. If I hadn’t watched MLP since season 3, that would be all the info I need to keep me up to date about this character.

Meadowbrook is a pony. The Mage Meadowbrook.
That too, I forget if “Meadowbrook” was a pony, place, or thing from context. If they finally give an explanation to those specific things, it shows that the staff can really sit on little clues before touching on them again. To me, that is one of the better forms of continuity.

Really though, Starlight could benefit from a little backstory: it just made her seem wildly more interesting and palatable.
