No, pony Glimmer isn’t like Sunset, since she has trouble changing, and was her own greatest challenge, while Sunset it’s mostly others that wouldn’t accept her, and her change was a 180 as oppose to Glimmer’s 40. Helps that Glimmer was trying to do good, and than wanted revenge against the one that destroyed that dream, while Sunset just wanted power.

that’s one of the complaints people have about horse glimmer.
 
Human glimmer needs to go in an entirely different direction then her pony counterpart If she wants to avoid similar comparisons. But keep the trixie friendship. More trix is always good.
