New headcanon: Big Macintosh and Bon are secret agents, with Bon having been transfered to Mac’s jurisdiction following the original encounter with the bug bear. Sweetie/Bon is bisexual, Mac is straight, and Lyra is lesbian with some tsundere hate lust for Mac.

That reminds me, if these comics “tie into S7,” are they just comic versions of show episodes? It makes Curnow’s words really hard to understand.
