Well, you’d honestly think he’d consider it worth it to take just a minute to check and make sure the art he’s ripping off doesn’t belong to somebody outside of Hasbro. You know, just common sense, really. On top of that, I of course have to question why he couldn’t just come up with and draw his own armor for the mane six. You know, like a good artist would do.
 
Pretty lucky break Fogsitt’s getting that artist he ripped off doesn’t care. Because this plagiarism pretty damn blatant.

I don’t see how the designs could be copyright anyways, seeing how they’re technically Hasbro’s copyright characters, and the armor designs do bare a small ammount of similarity to pony armor seen in the show. (Like Rainbow Dash’s mohawk helmet is nothing original.)
 
So there’s really nothing that can be done about it anyway.

Still, I don’t think that makes him a bad person, nor artist, (like some claim) as he & the rest at IDW apparently wanted to make accurate “Guardians of Harmony” armor, weapons, and such. There really isn’t any black & white issue if that’s the case.

An optimist could think this was an intentional homage to some great fan artist’s designs.
 
A realist knows they googled “mlp armor”, saw the fanart, thought it was official artwork, and copied it.

Actually, ironically he’s been using bipedal poses much less, (so it’s ironic to still be using that excuse) and even Andy Price, and others have been guilty of using them too.
 
Still, this isn’t about whether he’s a “good/bad” artist, so don’t start that bull-honkey here please. I can’t stomach another Fosgitt-drama thread.

The sad and ironic thing is, Fosgitt’s armor looks WAY better than the way Price drew Twilight’s armor in this one.
 
Twilight’s literally driving a giant Gold pooper scooper when Price draws it. This at least looks kind of cool.  

So not surprised by this. Isn’t Fosgitt the one who’s always drawing ponies standing bipedal for no apparent reason whatsoever? He’s a shit artist, honestly. Price is much better.

Hoo boy, this ought to be interesting to see unfold.

I honestly don’t see how the negative squad, or the Fosgitt-hate-club are any better honestly.
 
I’m honestly more neutral on the comic series, but I still get accused of blindly defending it, or being apart of said “gang” ironically. Guess nobody ever reads my negative critiques on it. Like turning King Sombra into another watered down villain.  
I’ll even admit, I actually like Fosgitt’s art, but I don’t consider him perfect, or anything.

Yeah, this is going to be interesting. Outside of Equestria-Prevails saying they don’t care (and really even that isn’t actually a defense to be honest) I don’t see any real defense of this it’s pretty blatant.
