The Fire Emblem series usually has at least one boss that is a good person, but is loyal to their kingdom, crown, or family, and is willing to die at your hands, with Camus being the first in the series. If done right, you will feel bad for quite a while.

Strangely enough, she reminds me of the sea ponies. Look at her mane, it’s all stuck back like the other sea ponies we’ve seen. Plus her body type looks similar to them too…

Can I take you up on that? I could need some money at that time. The more often I can watch the movie, the better it will be.
 
 
And even if it’s the case what you say, who cares? She might not talk about it when asked because it’s something deep-seated and traumatic (which would just make it even more interesting, really, to see her avoid the topic with tears in her eyes) or she might not have time to explain it with everything that will be going on.  
Either way, the fact she has such heavy injuries from SOMETHING makes her intriguing and interesting enough already.

Exactly THIS. We might not find out in the movie if the circumstances don’t allow for it, but the fact she’s already drawing you in now without really knowing anything about her and without seeing her in action speaks large walls of text about how great a character she is.

I will bet money on the scar and horn NEVER getting an explanation, and are simply there to give the allusion of “she’s super cool and has been through some tough times” that we will also never see or know anything about.
 
Or, alternatively those aspects of her character will be hastily thrown out in a few sentences and nothing else. It’s gonna one or the other.
