Its possible that toy manufacturers, book sellers that have hasbro’s permission but not liscensing of other products like able to use art use these cheaper stock Copyright safe garbage.
So my thought is, these “Official” toys from hasbro are just 3rd party toy companies only buying the right to sell, and not the extra art licensing.
Thats the only way I will rationalize how terrible the art is.
is it really that much cheaper to hire that random korean artist from the streets than to just copy paste some vectors from the actual movie they already made?
now the EG minis know how to do glorious box art with cool scenes taken directly from the movies that really show off their real personalities.
Because they actually wanted someone to buy it?
