when i look back at my comments, i realize i didn’t ask clearly which color you were attributing to hypnosis and which one was for seduction. so i might’ve gotten the wrong idea. hate to ask, but can ya re-explain that, where i know which color your talking about? sorry

and that’s pretty true with most creations. all attention can’t be focused on just one little thing. everything has to be put into consideration. the body is important yes, but also the colors and the lines, how it’s drawn and represented. in the image i tagged, way back when it was posted, i almost felt myself giving in to how seductive it can be

Everything in an image can bring out an artist’s true potential. Nothing, no aspect is worth ignoring for the sake of another. Considering Sundown’s work with clothes and scars have offered tremendous detail in the past, saying “HERE FOR BUTTS KTHX” is, while honest, a little shallow considering the clear effort they put into their work.

I was speaking of the other picture. Green was the colour representing her mind-control magic in the show, so it’s clear she’d be seducing others with that same colour-dress; if it’s already attributed to powerful magic and seduction, the link is clear.

well, i guess as a more dressed up chrysalis. in fact i slowly see myself liking it. it’s one of those choices, i slowly see myself liking, as i keep coming back to it. just like how chrysalis was my most hated, then turned (very slowly) to top ten sympathetic villain. and i hated her with a fiery passion! and yeah i guess this is someone’s choice in color. and when i think about it, it’s hard to really choose what color would fit her, other than black and green and varieties of green. so i guess this does kind of work. but what do you by “using it for seduction it makes sense”? i mean. what even is this, color? it looks like a mix of red and purple.

and yeah, i wanted to comment on that last time. those are really well-rounded! i’ve seen sharper!

@Baskerville3
Well the green aura was what was used for hypnosis in the show, so using it for seduction made sense… besides, it really didn’t go well with her hair. Also, comparatively, this is a much more dressed-up Chrysalis, with her hair clip and evening gloves not present in the previous one. Even her makeup is different. Besides, that was a commission; perhaps the colours were part of the commission, too, though not what he, himself, wanted her to wear?

Those are hardly-erect nipples.

i guess i can see a slight compliment. but i mean, each character has something attributed to them. fluttershy, her gala outfit and nature color. rainbow dash and pinkie pie, too easy. rarity, her eyes and the diamonds. applejack, her red shirt and apples. luna, with the moon and night, and celestia with the sun and day. but chrysalis, i would’ve expected blue-green or something like that cuz i mean her hive. i mean each character has some sort of color fitting one of their traits or one aspect of them. maybe blood red i guess, or… just now realizes this he already has her outfit! yeah, that commission with her and shining armor! he practically had a dress already made! https://derpibooru.org/1219100?scope=scpeb013b8fa3429ddd44c242774203882a91e07b6b6 unless he wanted to do something different

Looking into a very brief “colour compliments”-article, it seems that Purple is a solid compliment for green, and even blue-green. Another compliment for green is Orange, but considering that was used for Celestia, the darker tone was likely done to make her stand out, especially with her pale complexion.

i can admire the hair. i can admire the figure. i can admire the accessories as well as the makeup and the dress. but the color, OF the dress, i don’t get. why choose this color? i can feel a, “vampire seductress” vibe with her. i guess i could understand that. but why this, when all the other characters, kind of have something that matches them? even Luna’s matches somewhat with what she would wear. why… this? i could see more of a black fading into sea green and then green than this. not criticizing, just question choice color

So much can be said about her figure… but can we all take a moment to truly admire the hair, and acknowledge how much work it would take to actually do that tornado-style? Goddamn…
