I’m sorry, but she’s not the Scrappy Do of My Little Pony. If anything, she’s Scrappy in reverse (Once evil, now good).  
But I will say one thing. They should have had an episode where Starlight and Discord met before the finale.

It should have been a story focused on Luna and FLuttershy, the one who actually had adventures with Discord in the comics. And Fluttershy is the only one with creditibility to reach his inner self. Starlight is in no way relatable to him other than both of them having criminal past. Other than that is pointless, Discord doesn’t understand Glimmer because she completely rejected her old life and philosophy while Discord has the same personality and enjoment of evil deeds as he always did but now he is just more contained and concerned over Fluttershy. He won’t care about not mind controling his friends like Starlight because he doesn’t care about his friends beside one.

Starlight is worse try hard heroine than Andrea in Walking Dead or Scrappy Doo. Giving her more screentime where she’s the hero and save everyone doesn’t help her cause. She’s still bland and boring and she’s the worst part of the S6 finale. I visited the russian forums and the only things they liked were Trixie, Discord and Chrysalis. Thorax and Glimmer were as much of a downer as entire redemption of the changelings.

They’re going to fall prey to Accord and it’s going to be GLORIOUS WONDERFUL STARLIGHT GLIMMER THE 1ST who is going to save the day.

I wonder if Twilight and Luna can help Discord out of the snow and help them defeat Accord, even though he and Accord are the same person.
