Legitimately bad issues are often trotted out here as representative of the entire series, and brought up ad infinitum_*years_* after they've (and their writers) come and gone.
Like the show, there are good issues/episodes and there are those with problems. If you're a person who's generally satisfied with most episodes of the show, you'll probably like most of the comics as well. If you find some episodes of the show unfathomably bad, you'll probably see the same thing in the comics.
If you're interested in checking them out, the *Friends Forever* series is generally rated better. They are more slice-of-life type stories involving two main characters you sometimes might not expect paired up. The main series often takes bigger risks with grand plots in multi-issue arcs that can sometimes flop, or aspects of the story don't click and it sours the experience of the entire arc for some.
