@Badumsquish
Go watch politics. That’s what a daily life Celestia would be, and after over 1,000 years ruling, she likely has done everything. I’m a Celestia fan, and I know better than to want to see a solo episode about her. It would be worst than a AJ episode.
@Meanlucario
She’s a magical queen princess of a country in a magical world where every single mythological thing ever dreamed of is or is likely real. How on Earth could that be dull XD Besides, they made the Christmas Carol ripoff not be dull, the “teenage girls in high school” not dull, a wedding not dull, etc etc…
@Badumsquish
The bad thing is Royal problem showed us a typical Celestia day: Make to everypony a grin, and avoid controversy between cities. I don’t sure I you want watching more Celestia like a role model different to Twilight.
@hakirayleigh
I’d honestly just like one that was actually about Celestia. That one was about Celestia the way Filli Vanilli was about Big Macintosh: They were in it, they played a big role, but they weren’t the star or the focus D:
@Dragonpone
With the number of Luna episodes we have, plus Slice of Life and Celestial Advice/Royal Problem, I think that’s not out of the question at this point.
@hakirayleigh
I can understand wanting a Princess episode without Starlight, but I think chances of getting a Celly episode without Luna or Twi as at least a minor character are slim at best.
@Pagan
She was the catalyst for Celestial Advice, and it worked there. I don’t think catalyst is a right word for her in Royal Problems, though, and I didn’t find her bland or op in it, either.
@Meanlucario
A catalyst isn’t very good if the character is bland and not very well written, she manages to be both overshadowed by every character by how uninteresting she is and at the same time the center of the universe to an op level, I mean props for being one the few characters to be able to do that but she’d be better off not being the catalyst for literally everything.
@Meanlucario
Yeah how dare someone avoid something they don’t like, shame on them for being pragmatic and not exposing themselves to it. Good is subjective especially since you’re obviously a fan of hers meaning you won’t see or more likely admit her problems and thus see the things she does as good while others don’t. People are gonna have different tastes than you it’s fact of life no need to white knight someone everytime it happens.
@Badumsquish
I don’t follow you, and at most I usually just say enough to say my view (if you’re posting something, you should be prepared for others to add their opinions), but since you act like Starlight ruins everything, and refuse to watch any episode with her in it even if it’s good, it’s a bit hard to hold back.
@Meanlucario
Y’know, you could just accept people have different opinions than you instead of following them all around the site and leaping on them the second they dare to say anything even remotely negative about a fictional character.
@Pagan
I like Royal Problems, and see it as a leap in Celestia’s character, and don’t mind Starlight being the one to make things happen, since she’s the one that’s causing the show to shift it’s focus and give previously abandoned characters a reason to return.
