Without seeing anything else in the episode, and without any context, this meets or exceeded my finale expectations.

Ugh. I wish they kept the same dark design, but recolored the eyes and gave them hair just like all the OC’s made by the fans. Seriously. They know what we want.. don’t they, DONT THEY?!?

I agree. Not judging by appearence would have been an excellent continuation. (However the show does magically transform appearences to match emotions all the time. Only the Ever-Free Forest escapes the magically controlled utopionism look.)

I’m reading this comments and enjoying the shit coming down… I knew they could do something stupid, well at least it’s just dumb stupid and not offensive stupid like last season finale was.

The fact that they are clearly meant to be the New Flutter Ponies makes me so happy as a G1 fan. And frankly I like the color schemes and really don’t think they are that bad. Could have maybe used a bit of work but they are far from eyesores IMO.

I’m baffled

I feel as though them becoming all “Good looking” kind of goes against idea behind the acceptance the ponies gave Thorax in the first place.
