I’m just giving feedback on the motion and gait. Amputation is a life-changing thing, and severely changes the movement capabilities of a person or creature.
I know it’s just a base, but I thought that as someone with an OC who’s missing a leg, you might be interested in the info so you could hopefully use it in the future, since right now it’s kind of not presenting that aspect well.
Maybe she’s just special, then? I didn’t think that far into a pixel animation from a base I didn’t even make.
Sorry you don’t like it!
A 3-legged creature can’t trot like this though. They can run by alternating back-forward legs, or walk by hopping one of the steps. A trot like this is physically impossible since specifically in this case she’s missing the a back leg, and so can’t push her entire back half up during the right-front>left-back part of the cycle.
I’d be impressed if you could find a video of a 3 legged creature trotting rather than running. The ability to do that in-between gait is compromised by the asymmetry.
She has wings to balance her. You’d be surprised how normally a 3-legged animal can walk. Since this is from the side and 2D, it’s not a great way to show it, but cats (for example) who lose a hind leg make up for it by shifting their remaining hind leg closer to the center. I imagine Paper walks much the same.

Aargh!
Wait, no… Damn it!
That always comes out wrong! D:
The gait would need to be significantly altered. It’d be more like a hop.
