Hey, what’s this, a discussion about the meaning of rape on my image? I gotta say I wasn’t expecting so many sudden comments, derpibooru is kinda slow when it comes to the comments n things. Didn’t even show up on my notifications.
 
Anyway. My 2 cents to this discussion. Rape is any kind of sexual activity that is done without consent. In this case it’s oral sex. This image contains rape. I see that now. I was so tied to the idea of the image that I didn’t think of the rape meaning in it until I posted it. Tunnel vision of sorts.

In fairness, I think he was under the impression I was lobbying for a change in a tag’s meaning. The mods are quite human, and fully capable of misreading intent. They’re generally quite nice, but human nonetheless, and sometimes they overreact.

Are you being serious? I try to have a simple discussion about the definition of a word, and you actually accuse me of trying to tell you how things work on the website? Please forgive me, I wasn’t aware I was breaking any rules by calling into question what a word means, not what a tag implies. I suppose if you’re going to start banning for that I can’t stop you.

I think the fact that mind-control is put into grimdark category is also quite telling. The point to this entire discussion is that rape can and does mean more than penetration.

The fact that I don’t wish to have a discussion about the definition of rape without some veil of anonymity is less about my confidence in the word’s meaning and more because of simple embarrassment. But thankfully Merriam Webster are in fact a name that you can find in any school library. Look it up, this is one meaning of the word.
